The
local government of Muntinlupa proves locals that public resources are being
well taken care of the administration.
Department
of the Interior and Local Government awarded the Good Financial Housekeeping
(GFH) component of the Seal of Good Local Governance to Muntinlupa City after
passing the assessment for CY 2014 last February 25.
The
criteria of the GFH component of the SGLG are the 2013 COA Opinion and
compliance with the 1st Quarter Full Disclosure Policy Posting and 3
Conspicuous Places.
Mayor
Jaime Fresnedi, in his eight-point program, commits to deliver accountability
and transparency to the transactions of the City Government.
Fresnedi
administration thrust to post the local government’s operation and other
breakdown in the Full Disclosure Bulletin Boards installed in noticeable places
in the city, three of which are in the Muntinlupa City Hall.
The
Local Chief will continue to uphold local governance service as the City
Government gets full swing in the re-certification of ISO Quality Management
System.
One
of Muntinlupa’s current undertakings is the attainment of the international
standard to upgrade and to raise the bar high for public service.
Fresnedi
says citation from national agencies will compel the local government to
augment and improve efforts towards good local governance, transparency, and
good financial management.
